This comprehensive template is designed to streamline your daily tasks, enhance focus, and foster personal growth. It provides a structured framework for organizing errands, setting clear goals, prioritizing tasks, tracking bugs and improvements, and even maintaining a journal for reflection.

Errands:

Begin by listing any miscellaneous tasks or errands that need to be done. These can range from personal chores to work-related errands that you want to get out of the way.

  • Example: Order Chromecast

Today's Goal:

Identify the primary objective you want to accomplish for the day. This should be the most significant or impactful task that you can realistically complete.

  • Example: Fix the crash bugs and the calendar selection, then release a beta

Focus:

Divide your focus into two areas:

  • Bugs/Improvements: Clearly define the specific bugs or areas of improvement you need to address. These can be technical issues, user experience problems, or efficiency optimizations. Examples: Fix crashes, rework day and week selection
  • Growth: List activities designed to expand your knowledge, reach, or impact. This could be marketing efforts, professional development, or content creation. Example: Write Twitter thread

Growth:

This section provides more space to elaborate on your growth activities. You can add details, steps, or timelines to make these goals more concrete.

Improvements:

Similarly, this section allows you to go into greater detail about the improvements you want to make. Describe the desired outcomes and the steps required to achieve them.

Bugs:

Use this section to document each bug thoroughly, including its symptoms, potential causes, and the steps you'll take to resolve it.

Journal:

This is your space for personal reflections and observations. Capture your thoughts, insights, and experiences throughout the day. Note your progress, challenges, and any ideas that come to mind.

  • Example: 1 PM: Just finished lunch, now I'll start working on the bug fixes to close this release.
