Spanish has arrived in NotePlan! Version 3.19.2 introduces full Spanish language support across macOS and iOS, making NotePlan more accessible to our global community. We’ve also added support for inserting images in templates, so your notes and documents can be richer and more visual than ever.
This release focuses on refinement — improving accessibility with new keyboard navigation options, polishing the calendar view so note colors subtly shine through, and fixing a wide range of small but important issues. From smoother sidebar behavior on iPad to more reliable time blocking and better offline handling, this update makes NotePlan feel more stable and cohesive across all devices.
We have made a complete translation. Thanks to AI it has become much easier and faster. We will add more languages in the next releases. We also fixed some missing German translations in this process.
You can now add images to your templates and once inserted, the image will be copied over to the final note (so keep in mind you are creating a copy of the image for each template insertion).
The navigation between sidebar and editor on iPad and Mac using just the keyboard have been tricky, but now you should be able to switch easily.
Use CMD+Return if you are inside the editor to switch to the sidebar. The note will be automatically focused and scrolled to (like "Show in Sidebar", which also focuses the sidebar now).
Inside the sidebar you can go up and down to choose a note, as you select it the note will be automatically opened and with Return you can start editing it.
This release focuses on refining the NotePlan experience, improving accessibility, and adding full Spanish language support. It also includes many small fixes across macOS and iOS that make the app more stable and polished overall.
