NotePlan 3.22 brings a new built-in MCP server for AI assistants, support for iPhone Duo, and a share extension on the Mac. Siri can now add to your existing notes, search gets more powerful, and reminders and sync are more reliable.
NotePlan now comes with its own MCP server. It connects NotePlan to AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code, so they can find, read and update your notes, tasks and calendar right from the chat.
To set it up, open Help ▸ AI Connectors and choose your app. Unlike the previous Node.js server, there is nothing to download or install. The new server is faster, more stable, and works even when NotePlan is closed.

Read the setup guide for all the details.

You can now send text, links and files to NotePlan from other Mac apps. Choose Share ▸ NotePlan in Safari or any other app, then pick today's note, tomorrow, this week, any other note, or a new note. Links show a preview with their title, and NotePlan remembers where you sent your last share.

Ask Siri to add text to one of your existing notes, and bullet points stay bullet points. This works with the new Siri on iOS 27 and macOS 27.
