Memo AI 1.3 is out: summaries have a whole new look, and conversations now come with speaker labels. Here is everything in this release.
Redesigned Summaries
Summaries were redesigned from the ground up. Notes now use richer formatting, and the structure adapts to the content of each memo instead of following one fixed template.
- New visual layout with clearer sections, key points, callouts, and highlights
- The summary shape follows the content, so every memo reads a little differently
- Font themes: choose from five styles to make your notes feel like yours. They carry into PDF and image exports too.
Speaker Labels
Memo now detects who is speaking in a conversation.
- Each speaker gets a color and label in the transcript
- Tap a speaker to give them a name, and it updates everywhere, including the summary
- Speaker detection runs on your device, so your audio stays private
iCloud Sync
Your memos, chats, and settings now sync securely across your devices via iCloud.
Also New
- Action items are now grouped by date, so you can see what's due at a glance
- Import videos by sharing them to Memo, and it transcribes the audio
- Explain selection: highlight any text in a memo and ask AI about it, right from the context menu
Improvements & Fixes
- More reliable transcription for long recordings, imports, and spotty connections
- Better language detection for long recordings in a single language
- Reorganized share menu: export formats first, copy-to-clipboard options grouped together
- Fixed several crashes and sync edge cases
